A very well turned out evening with nearly 60 dogs competing. Many thanks go to Barrie Harvey who
‘volunteered’ to be the judge for the evening. He set four courses (2 agility and 2 jumping for
combined Grades 1-3 and Combined Grades 4-7). The competition started at 7.30 pm with Agility for
the Grades 1-3. Tea/coffee/soup and food and loads of crisps (thank you) were provided for the
break between the agility and jumping courses.
There was the usual healthy rivalry between some club members (mainly Simon, Arthur and Don), but
all of them were beaten by Katie!
Thanks go to those who offered their help for the evening and the callers, scribes and scoreboard, and
also to those who ran around the ring as pole pickers and course breakers/builders. Competitions do
not run themselves so it was very good to see so many prepared to take part.
